Our story

We are rebuilding overseas hiring so the worker never pays for the privilege.

The Landing Edge is functional infrastructure for a market that has run on cash, handshakes and hope for forty years. This page is the long version — for investors, partners and press.

The problem, in depth

The fee economy

Across the India–Gulf corridor, a worker routinely pays ₹80,000 to ₹1,50,000 to secure a job that is legally free to them. The money moves through sub-agents in cash, so nothing is traceable, nothing is refundable, and nothing is enforceable when the job turns out to be different from the promise.

The information gap

Workers are told a salary figure, not a breakdown. Housing, transport and food allowances — often 30–40% of real take-home pay — are invisible until arrival. Employers, meanwhile, cannot see whether the candidate in front of them was screened or simply supplied.

The silence

Between application and boarding pass sit six to nine months of total darkness. No status, no stage, no accountable owner. Families borrow against that silence.

Founder story

“My uncle paid two years of wages to a man with a briefcase and a promise. He landed in a country he had never seen, on a salary he had never been shown in writing.”

I grew up watching that transaction repeat in my town — the same briefcase, the same promise, a different family. The agents were not always villains; the system simply had no way to prove anything. No itemised offer. No verified profile. No status anyone could check.

After a decade building operations software for cross-border logistics, the fix looked obvious: containers get tracked at every port, but people do not. So we built the platform the corridor never had — one record, three participants, every stage visible, and the fee moved off the worker and onto the employer where it legally belongs.

We are not trying to remove processing offices. They do real, licensed, document-heavy work. We are removing the darkness they operate in.

Where this goes

Now — the transparent rail

Itemised mandates, verified candidate profiles, live stage tracking and optional AI interviews. Every fee on record, paid by the employer.

Next — the trust layer

Portable, verified worker credentials: documents, test scores and placement history that travel with the candidate across corridors and employers.

Then — the corridor operating system

Compliance reporting, escrowed processing payments, and post-placement welfare tracking built into the same rail employers already hire on.
